What is Logist?
Logist is a digital platform connecting freight senders with carriers. It is not a transport company with its own fleet: carriers propose prices and terms.
Can I use the service now?
Logist is in invitation-only closed testing in Kazakhstan. The website demo does not submit requests or grant access. See Apps for details of the two applications.
How does groupage differ from a dedicated truck?
Groupage travels with other shipments. The first version uses one vehicle without transfers, with possible stops. A dedicated truck is allocated entirely to your cargo.
How is the price formed?
Carriers propose the price. The final price includes the platform markup. The amount, currency and terms are visible before confirmation.
Do I need to pay during testing?
No. No real payments occur during closed testing. Simulated payment checks the order workflow without charging money.
Can an individual send cargo?
Yes, the platform is intended for individuals and companies. Choose a format, prepare cargo details and compare quotes by price, dates and terms.
Are cargo dimensions required?
Parcels and groupage need weight, dimensions and package count to calculate volume. A dedicated-truck request needs capacity, body type and actual cargo weight; volume is optional.
When will I know who carries my cargo?
Provider identity and contacts are hidden before payment and revealed after successful test checkout. Driver and vehicle details follow assignment when available. Test payment charges no money.
Can I send any cargo?
No. Eligibility depends on cargo type, vehicle, route and documents. Describe the contents accurately and agree special conditions in advance.
Can carriers see competing bids?
No. Carriers work with their own quotes and orders. Independent bids are not shown to competitors.
Does reference currency conversion change the amount due?
No. The original quote amount and currency remain binding. KZT, RUB, CNY and USD comparisons do not establish real payment support in all four currencies.
Can I book Almaty–Astana now?
Commercial availability is not confirmed. This is a proposed pilot, not a regular operating service.
What does ‘without transfers’ mean?
The first-version groupage workflow keeps cargo in one vehicle. Loading and unloading stops are possible; it is not a dedicated or nonstop service promise.
